Director of HealthSpan Institute
Dr. Joel Noland serves as the Director of HealthSpan Institute.
His passion for naturopathic and functional medicine emerged during his teenage years. In 1997, he declined an appointment to the United States Air Force Academy to fully commit to the path of naturopathic medicine, acupuncture, and traditional Oriental herbal therapies.

Raised in a Christian family, Dr. Joel Noland joined Boy Scouts at 10, earning Eagle Scout in 1996 along with Bronze and Silver Palms. Scouting and High Adventure programs cultivated his passion for the outdoors, understanding of creation's underpinnings, and lifelong leadership abilities
- Graduated from Highschool in 1997.
- Accepted to United States Air Force Academy -> Declined Appointment to pursue Alternative Medicine.

We do not accept insurance, as most functional medicine therapies are not covered. Working directly with patients allows us to provide fully personalized, unrestricted care focused on your unique needs.
We can bill certain lab tests directly to your insurance.
